Your video stays on your device.
Files and filenames
We do not receive your selected video, audio or filename. Processing takes place in the browser. Downloads are created locally; selecting a video does not send it to a media server.
Temporary storage
Large jobs may use temporary browser storage. The app releases job resources when you cancel, replace a result or leave. A forced browser exit can prevent cleanup; clear this site’s data in browser settings to remove remaining temporary files.
Website requests
Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers its pages, scripts and processing files. These requests expose ordinary connection information, such as IP address, browser headers, requested path and request time, to the hosting provider. Media content is not part of these requests.
Analytics and accounts
We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand website visits and tool usage, and Microsoft Clarity to understand page interactions. These services receive connection and browsing information and may use cookies. Tool events record the interface language, whether a sample was used, file size and duration, compression settings, processing time, result size, error categories, and download or share actions. These events do not include your filename, video, audio or raw error messages. No account is required. When you choose Share video, your device passes the compressed file to the app you select; it is not uploaded to our servers.
